Welcome to the PAMEAS Neuroendovascular Institute

Neuroendovascular interventional surgery is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat complex vascular lesions in the head, neck, and spine. The Neuroendovascular Institute was formed to advance neuroendovascular interventions through collaborations with healthcare professionals, medical societies and associations, and industry in the production of high quality research, educational, and training programs for physicians, nurses, and technologists.

The evolution of this field in recent years has greatly improved the prognosis for patients presenting with complex neurovascular disorders. Advancements in catheter delivery systems have enabled expanding endovascular treatment of cervical and intracranial stenosis, arteriovenous malformations and fistulas, tumor embolizations, aneurysms, and acute stroke therapy. The future of neuroendovascular interventions offers patients reduced morbidity and mortality as well as lower healthcare costs and and shorter hospital stays in these times of healthcare reform.
